Justin Laube, MD
Integrative Internal Medicine, East-West Medicine & Men’s Health
Justin Laube, MD, is a dual board-certified integrative and internal medicine physician with more than 20 years of medical, clinical, and educational experience. He helps patients uncover why persistent symptoms, chronic illness, and declining vitality may be occurring — and creates a personalized path toward greater health, resilience, and well-being.
At the Akasha Center, Dr. Laube combines the diagnostic rigor of conventional internal medicine with functional medicine, nutrition, lifestyle medicine, acupuncture, and East-West medicine. His approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and highly personalized. By taking the time to understand each patient’s medical history, symptoms, lifestyle, stressors, and goals, he looks beyond isolated diagnoses to care for the whole person.
Dr. Laube cares for adults at all phase of life navigating complex and chronic health concerns, including autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, stress-related illness patterns, fatigue, sleep disturbances, chronic headaches, myofascial pain, and musculoskeletal injury recovery. He also has particular expertise in men’s health and creates a grounded, supportive environment for exploring concerns related to hormone health, vitality, cardiometabolic fitness, sexual health, performance, and healthy aging.
Dr. Laube is especially passionate about using Integrative East-West Medicine to help patients who feel frustrated by persistent symptoms or who want a deeper understanding of the patterns and barriers affecting their health. Drawing on his fellowship training and extensive clinical experience at UCLA’s Center for East-West Medicine, he integrates internal medicine diagnostic reasoning with traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, myofascial trigger-point therapy, and mind-body awareness. His work also recognizes the important roles that stress, emotional well-being, meaning, and spiritual health can play in the healing process.
